Often downplayed, usually misinterpreted and not every time treatable, fibromyalgia is one of the medicinal world’s greatest intriguing challenges. It express numerous symptoms that it can actually hide under a number of other conditions (arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, lupus and so on) and it is so hard to diagnose that insurance firms are hesitant over the reliability of the one blood test that has ever been developed for identifying this syndrome.

5 million that is the sum of people in the United States only who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and who have to live through dreadful pain and for whom day-to-day activities can be really difficult. For some, even getting out of the bed looks terrible. Others cope with their situation as well as they can. But for all of them, this syndrome is more tangible than anything.

Most people who smoke a pack a day of cigarettes know they are walking on thin ice regarding their health, but how many people understand that drinking thirty or more ounces of diet soda on a daily basis could prove to be more harmful than a pack of cigarettes? And how can diet soda be worse than regular soda? Even though there are over four thousand chemicals in one commercial cigarette, the leading chemical in diet soda may in fact be breeding more cancer cells in human beings, and thus leading to nasty tumors sooner in life, according to latest research. Cancer increases in an acidic body where the cells are deprived of nutrients and oxygen. Yet, even worse than cigarettes are artificial sweeteners, which fool the body into ingesting them, as if they are food, and infecting the cleansing organs with mutagens. Some research shows the body never excretes all of the sorbitol, aspartame, sucralose or saccharin. When a human ingests Splenda, Equal, Sweet-n-Low, NutraSweet, etc., their cleansing organs, like the kidneys, liver, and pancreas, are overworking and malnourished. You can’t live without these organs. Aspartame is GMO, so the blood is infected with synthetic carcinogens (which it doesn’t release suitably, if ever) which cause central nervous system (CNS) disorders and make you starving! That is right, synthetic sugars drive hunger and in fact make most people put on weight.

What We Know About It?

We know very little about fibromyalgia and it appears that with each year that passes by we know even less instead of progressing in our research. One very worthy example on how views linked to fibromyalgia alter over time is related to how it used to be diagnosed. When physicians examined the 18 tender points in the human body, they believed that fibromyalgia should be diagnosed only when at least 11 of these points are aching. But, these days this rule is not followed any more, mostly for the reason that there are fibromyalgia patients with fewer painful tender points than that as well.

Symptoms of fibromyalgia can be tremendously variable. Headaches, irritable bowel syndrome, irritable bladder, arthritis, joint pain, inflammation, sleeplessness, restless leg syndrome, fibro fog (a sequence of cognitive difficulties such as temporary memory related problems) and many other symptoms can appear also. All these symptoms can occasionally make physicians believe patients suffer from something different other than fibromyalgia and they place incorrect diagnoses, which means that patients don’t get the appropriate treatment.

Fibromyalgia is, actually, not curable. But, it can be coped with the assistance of medication, different therapies and physical therapy as well. Medicine can be either of the kind that aims at specific symptoms or one of the three kinds of drugs that are FDA-approved for treating this condition. Lyrica, Cymbalta and Savella are these medicines and the initial two were originally made to treat diabetes, nerve pain, seizures, depression and anxiety. Though Savella was made for fibromyalgia from the start, it is also an anti-depressant at its core.

What Do Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi Have to Do With Fibromyalgia?

Beverages are immensely harmful for your body. The acids in them can destroy the stomach, the flavorings can destroy your whole body and the sugars are very damaging as well. But, when thinking of harmful beverages, most of the people consider that simply those which have sugar are bad for them.

This is entirely incorrect. According to further current studies, diet cold drinks (diet Coke, diet Pepsi and so on) might actually be as hazardous as the normal sodas and, under definite conditions, they could be even worse.

The key purpose diet sodas should be evaded every time is linked to their main component substituting sugar: aspartame (which may come under other labels as well, for instance NutraSweet). When aspartame is used in soda, its processing temperature surpasses 85 degrees Fahrenheit and, at that point, it can change into Formaldehyde and into formic acid as well. Formic acid is very unsafe for the human body and, just to develop an idea on how injurious it can be, consider the fact that fire ants’ sting contains this toxin.

When this toxin gets in your body, methanol toxicity develops and it can cause certain signs to appear. Very often, people express symptoms related to multiple sclerosis, systemic lupus and fibromyalgia and they are diagnosed with these conditions. Yet, they carry on consuming aspartame and this causes them even further damage (to the point where their very survival could be threatened, for example in the case of those diagnosed with lupus and continue to drink aspartame sodas).

However diet coke possibly will not be able to clarify the actual cause of fibromyalgia or of other related conditions, the fact is that it can certainly be very harmful for your whole body. If you have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia symptoms, then you should make certain to eliminate sodas from your life as much as possible and to shun everything comprising aspartame at all costs. Consume your 8 glasses of water every day and you will be considerably in good health and much content about the way in which you feel.
